As Chief Operating Officer, Sean oversees and drives SpotX’s broader business objectives including the overarching company vision.
Sean joined SpotX in 2013 to build and launch the company’s platform business, providing media owners with a solution to holistically manage their programmatic video strategy. Since joining, Sean has held numerous positions including, VP, Platform; SVP, Global Revenue, and Chief Revenue Officer. He has been instrumental in growing the business through a variety of initiatives, including the launch of the company’s Supply Side Platform (SSP), publisher ad server, Video Header Bidding integration with JW Player, and Demand Facilitation services for buyers. Sean has forged relationships with OTT leaders like Discovery, Roku, Tivo, Pluto TV, Vudu, and more.
Sean has received industry-wide recognition for his work at SpotX, most recently being named one of Business Insider’s “TV Insiders to Know.” In 2019, Sean was named an IT List Honoree by the Cynopsis Digital Awards. Additionally, he received a Gold Stevie® Award for Management in The American Business Awards, and in 2017, was named Best in Biz Awards’ “Sales Executive of the Year” for his achievements across sales functions.
